Accessibility Statement
Last updated: 6 August 2026
Honest summary: we've built this site with accessibility in mind — keyboard navigation, screen reader labels, colour contrast, and reduced-motion support — but it hasn't been through a formal, independent accessibility audit. If anything doesn't work well for you, please tell us; we'll fix it.
Our commitment
We want everyone to be able to find out about our services and get in touch, regardless of ability or the device they're using. We've aimed for this site to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at Level AA as a working target, though this hasn't been independently tested against that standard.
What we've built in
- Every page can be navigated using a keyboard alone, with visible focus indicators
- Images have descriptive alternative text for screen readers
- Interactive elements (menus, forms, the map, the photo slider) use appropriate ARIA labelling
- Text and background colours are chosen to meet standard contrast ratios
- Animations and auto-playing content respect your device's "reduce motion" setting, and slow down or stop for anyone with that preference switched on
- The site is fully responsive and usable at any screen size or zoom level
- Form fields have visible, permanent labels rather than relying on placeholder text alone
Known limitations
The interactive coverage map is provided by a third party (OpenStreetMap via Leaflet) and its accessibility is outside our direct control. We've provided the same information in plain text alongside it for anyone who finds the map itself difficult to use.
